About me..

“Continuous Improvement!”, that’s the motto of René. Rene seeks challenge in the fact that everything can be improved. Both in his personal and his professional career, this motto drives him.

As an ALM consultant at Xpirit, Rene helps companies to build better software. By using the right processes and tools he helps companies, departments and people to improve in the software development area. His style, open, direct, social and Agile.

With over 15 years of experience in the software industry and over 8 years in the ALM and Agile space Rene is a true all-rounder. You can find him as a speaker on both national and international conferences like TechDays, SDN, Techorama and TechDays Sweden, where he shares his knowledge about his favorite subjects. ALM and Agile.

As a recognition for his contributions Rene was awarded with the MVP award for VIsual Studio ALM in 2012 and has renewed that ever since.

In his personal life Rene is a father and tries to improve these skills every day as well. One of the things he loves to do is baking cakes with his sons. To lose some more energy, Rene runs marathons and aims for that better time every single time.

  1. How are you? I wonder how I can make a custom validation controls when the save button is clicked? I’m trying to use invalidate(flushing), but without success ..

    • Hi,

      Thanks for your reply. You cannot create custom validation controls that trigger on save.

      You can create a server event handler for complex logic.
