April fool’s day has been a good day for me the last 3 years. Today I received the email…. The “Congratulations 2014 Microsoft MVP!”. And again I was ver very happy.
This is the third time I received the award. The first year was strange. Did not know what to expect. The second year is different. I attended 2 MVP summits, got to know fellow MVP’s. I am really getting attached to the MVP-ship. So I felt relieved and happy that I got it again!
Besides the benefits it is awesome to be part of a group that shares the same passion. Fellow MVP’s but also the guys from the VS ALM Product Team.
To become a MVP is quite hard. And it necessary to be supported by the right people. So I would like to take this opportunity to thank my company Delta-N, and especially Roderick Schoon and Marcel Timmers, who made it possible for me to “be visible” in the community. Besides them, I would like to thank my colleagues Jasper Gilhuis, Mark van den Berg and Fokko Veegens for being such great ALM colleagues. Their ideas, inspiration, hard work and feedback makes it great to go to work every day and continue work in this great area of Application Lifecycle Management.
Finally, thank you, the reader of this blog. The growing number of visits every day makes it worthwhile to continue my work on this blog. Keep posted !
Thanks,
Rene
